We aim to help you achieve your big business dream through innovation. As a one time measure, we work with you to take up a business objective as an innovation challenges. For sustained self-measures, we help you install a complete system of organisational innovation.

 

We believe that step-up change is not the only field in which innovation techniques can help. There are ample benefits to be obtained even in the fields of sustaining innovation, incremental improvements or even problem solving.

 

However, all these must be achieved by systematic and structured techniques and not by inspiration and role-model following.

 

alok newInnovators & Leaders is led by Col Alok Asthana (retired). Depending upon the requirement of the project, we co-opt other resource persons.

 

Col Alok Asthana (retired) is a seasoned facilitator of innovation topics. His experience lies in both the critical areas – innovation content and facilitation skills. He is also an approved facilitator of the Design Clinic Scheme of government of India, which sponsors programs for the industry ( MSMEs) to improve their competitiveness through design thinking. The program design is approved and monitored by National Institute of Design ( NID ), Ahmedabad.

He is also a thought leader with Innovation Global Network, USA.

 

Alok has been fortunate to serve the Indian army for 26 years, in several command and leadership instructional appointments. Thereafter, he has been a senior consultant at Erehwon Innovation Consulting, Head OD & Head Training team at Aptech Ltd and Director, Executive programs at Northpoint Centre of learning.

 

Alok has been trained at IITB in TRIZ – the Russian discipline for systematic innovation. He has mastered the use of TRIZ for technical domains e.g. heavy engineering, R&D and product development.  Alongside, he has also kept in touch with parallel development that integrate TRIZ with the innovation needs of non-technical domains viz business, marketing and managerial. In that, that he has been able to make the systematic approach of TRIZ compatible with the logic of TOC ( Theory of Constraints ) and the several tools of Trend-watch and Business Models.

In Leadership, Alok has the benefit of significant live experience in army command roles (not many trainers can boast of even some live experience) and also of having been an instructor in leadership and strategy in top leadership academies of the armed forces.

This diversity of knowledge and integration of approaches enables him to handle the process, the tools and techniques and the setting up of innovation in organisations, with equal ease. He has also developed a model for bridging the workshop-workplace divide in training. Presently, he is engaged in developing world-class, stand-alone e-learning resources, including workshops through the virtual web medium. Worked with India’s top management institute, Wellingker’s at Matunga Mumbai, to help design the first ever mandatory module on creativity & innovation for MBA students (as per orders of Mumbai Univ). Delivered the innovation part of it for several post graduate courses.

 

Been national assessor-jury for CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) for their Industrial Innovation Awards. Based on this experience, we have launched our new service to establish a modern online Suggestion Box scheme for companies desirous of nurturing grass-root creativity and employee engagement, and thereafter supporting it through training, tools and mentorship.
